COVID-19 RELIEF PACKAGE IN THE HANDS OF HOPE PERFORMANCE TENNIS VOLUNTEERS
A total of 70 volunteers made up of management,
Foundation and Club coaches, photographers and officiating officials have
received relief package from the Hope Performance Tennis Inc as part of
measures put in place by the foundation to respond to the effects of the
COVID-19 pandemic.
This intervention follows a decision taken by
management on how the foundation can contribute to making the volunteers
resilient and respond to the economic challenges imposed by the Pandemic.
There has been unprecedented solidarity throughout
the world as a way to address the impact of the virus, the Hope Performance
Tennis Inc, wishes to use this opportunity to communicate to its stakeholders
that it is learning and mobilizing support in responding to the pandemic.
The management of the foundation is currently
engaging other partners and stakeholders on how to provide more resilient tools
and opportunities to the volunteers and by extension to the kids that the
foundation serves.
The Head of Programs and Project, Giovanni Adinyira
who was in charge of the distribution has reported of a successful distribution
of the relief items and conveys the appreciation of the volunteers to the
leadership of the Hope Performance Tennis Inc.
