CONGRATULATIONS TO NANA ODENEHO AMPONSAH FOR BEING ELECTED THE PRESIDENT OF THE GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL YMCA.

I write to congratulate Nana Odeneho Amponsah the Greater Accra Regional YMCA President elect and by extension all other elected officers of the Region.
Even though I was away, I followed closely as the processes of the election unfolded and I must confess that it has been a great account, I equally celebrate all those who turned out especially officers of the branches for fulfilling their constitutional mandate and deepening the democratic credentials of the YMCA.

It is not lost on me that, Nana Odeneho Amponsah rose from the ranks as the branch Youth Secretary of Tema YMCA, branch Youth President before becoming the branch PRO for Tema YMCA to becoming the Vice Chairman of the Tema YMCA. He is credited as the Founder of the Harbour City YMCA, a feet that earned him a seat at the regional level as a co-opted Executive Member for the Greater Accra YMCA to the position of the Treasurer of the Region, the 2018 National Council Elections Nomination Committee Chairman and now to the dizzy height of the President of the Greater Accra YMCA taking over from Mr. Prince Allotey who served with commitment and diplomacy.

However it is about time for the Greater Accra Regional YMCA to find its corner stone not only in the YMCA but also in the social and political relevance of our country and I have no shrink of doubt that this is the promise heralding the election of Nana Odeneho Amponsah as the newly elected Greater Accra Regional YMCA President.

Once again congratulations to him and the other elected executives and whiles wishing them well I place before their leadership my maximum support in delivering the best for the Ghana YMCA and mother Ghana.
