Our world is full of life maddening circumstances that has made many to have given up not only on themselves but on life itself as a whole and when you hear some of the untold stories you can honestly come to terms with why many people especially young people are continually not able to triumph and are not reaching their fullest potential. Nevertheless our world and for that matter humanity has equally proven itself of being the inspiration that we can find in others at least if not in ourselves to scale the numerous challenges that confronts our development. I received with gracious thanks and a deep sense of indebtedness the out pouring of love and goodwill wishing me well and celebrating my election as the President (Chairman) Elect of the Greater Accra Regional YMCA. Since Saturday the 15th of September 2018, I have mulled over the congratulatory messages, admonishment, demonstration of solidarity and the love shown me and have comes to terms with the true weight of the task ahead of me and it humbles my spirit. May I use this opportune moment to salute and appreciate the leadership of my predecessors especially Mr. Prince Allotey and to ask of their guidance and  continuous support in our never ending attempt to make the Greater Accra YMCA what it truly ought to be, a colossus in youth empowerment. I am determine to mobilize strong voices within the Greater Accra YMCA especially the youth to lead the charge in reviving the Region and to spearhead great advocacy on the untold stories of young people in the Region.  Und...

I write to congratulate Nana Odeneho Amponsah the Greater Accra Regional YMCA President elect and by extension all other elected officers of the Region. Even though I was away, I followed closely as the processes of the election unfolded and I must confess that it has been a great account, I equally celebrate all those who turned out especially officers of the branches for fulfilling their constitutional mandate and deepening the democratic credentials of the YMCA. It is not lost on me that, Nana Odeneho Amponsah rose from the ranks as the branch Youth Secretary of Tema YMCA, branch Youth President before becoming the branch PRO for Tema YMCA to becoming the Vice Chairman of the Tema YMCA.
